Educate for Hope Africa (E4HA) is a nonprofit organization based in Tanzania dedicated to empowering children, youth, and communities to achieve self-reliance and contribute to a stronger nation. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for young people by promoting menstrual health, personal and physical development, sports and games, vocational training, and impactful community interventions. We are driven by action and fueled by hope. With the support of generous partners, sponsors, and individuals, we are bringing real change—and real hope—to those who need it most.

Our Team

Aziza Ngume
Executive Director

Aziza Ngume is an experienced educator and development practitioner with over ten years of expertise in teacher training, education program design, and community-based initiatives. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Educate for Hope Africa, a grassroots organization dedicated to improving access to quality education for marginalized communities. Aziza holds a bachelor’s degree of Languages and interpretation/Translation from the Muslim University of Morogoro and has worked extensively with NGOs to support quality education for marginalized groups, including young girls, street children, and refugees. Aziza is passionate about transforming learning environments, strengthening school-community engagement, and advancing inclusive, equitable education for all.

Farouq Shaban
Program Manager

Farouq is a passionate and results-driven education professional with over 10 years of experience in early childhood and primary education, teacher training, curriculum development, and program coordination. As Co-founder and Program coordinator at Educate for Hope Africa, Farouq provides strategic leadership and oversees the implementation of impactful education programs, including a school feeding initiative supporting kindergarten schools and a transformative Community of Learning (CoL) model in Tanzanian primary schools.

Linda Stevenin
Advisory Board Member

Linda is an accomplished educator, architect, and former small business owner. With over 35 years of experience in K-12 schools and space design in California’s Silicon Valley, she brings her passion for developing learning communities to her pro-bono work with Educate for Hope Africa. As the lead for Strategic Initiatives at Artik Art and Architecture, Linda led special projects, including envisioning a groundbreaking model for learning in 2035. She played pivotal roles at Summit Public Schools, building cutting edge learning spaces as Director of Facilities Development and developing an experiential learning model as Director of Summit’s Intersession Program.

Paris Bradfield
Advisory Board Member

Paris is a committed educator with over 10 years of classroom and leadership experience in Australia and the Middle East. She has played a key role in developing start-up schools, leading teams of teachers through mentoring, training, and instructional coaching. Her work has focused on curriculum planning, inclusive classroom practices, and supporting the wellbeing of both students and staff. Paris is especially passionate about helping teachers, families, and communities recognise the long-term value of quality education.   Her travels through various regions in Africa, including rural communities, have shaped her understanding of how education systems function in different contexts. These experiences have strengthened her belief in the importance of community involvement and culturally responsive approaches to teaching. As an Advisory Board Member for Educate for Hope Africa, Paris is excited to support schools in building strong, respectful relationships with local communities so that, together, they can provide quality education for every child enrolled.

Dr. Muganyizi Jonas Bisheko
Advisory Board Member

Dr. Muganyizi Jonas Bisheko is a Tanzanian scholar, author, and practitioner whose educational journey across Tanzania, Malaysia, and India has equipped him with an interdisciplinary background and a global outlook. With a BBA in Marketing, an MBA, and a PhD in Sustainable Development, he combines strong management expertise with advanced research and policy insights.
With over seven years of progressive experience in research, program management, participatory rural development, and strategic leadership,Dr. Bisheko brings a unique blend of academic rigor and practical expertise to Educate for Hope Africa. As an Advisory Board Member, his contributions focus on providing strategic guidance, strengthening impact measurement, mobilizing resources and partnerships, advancing advocacy and awareness, and supporting governance to ensure accountability and mission-driven growth..
